Karma's Garden Chalk Finish Paint - Colors

Our paint colors, and names, are inspired by nature with soft muted tones, that blend well with one another.  We try to pick tones that do not clash when paired, and will allow you to fill your home with many colors while still maintaining harmony.

~ Neutrals ~

Lily


A soft, off - white that has a slight creamy undertone. Like the petal of a calla lily. Good for mixing in with colors in order to lighten.

Lava Rock

This is a very deep charcoal, inky, blueish-black color. it's great for stenciling and accent work, or for a contemporary look on modern furniture.  It is very useful as a base when using a two color distressing method

Storm Cloud

A medium to deep gray, neutral tone color. Works well with all colors, lightens very well, when mixed with 'Lily' , to a beautiful pale gray.

~ Blues/Greens ~

Robin's Nest

A versatile gray/blue color, that really goes well with yellows, pinks, grays, and rusty orange. A very popular color.

Sugar Pea

A beautiful green, inspired by the color of fresh summer produce.. This green began to appear in the kitchens of the 60's, and has been popular ever since. It goes amazingly well with 'Dragonfly' and 'Robin's Nest'

Ocean

Like the ocean, this blue is deep and calming. Undertones of grey and green make it a beautiful choice for any project.

Dragonfly

A soft teal, whimsical yet sophisticated. It compliments almost every color in our lineup, and is one of our best sellers.

Silk Moth

Soft, creamy yellow-green, reminiscent of the wing of a silk moth. It pairs well with greens, blues and neutrals.

Verdigris

Like the lovely, aged patina on copper garden fixtures and statuary, this green is truly inspiring. It gives a great pop of color to any decor. It is sure to become one of your favorites! 

~ Reds/Pinks/Purples ~

Orchid

A soft and muted purple that is not too bright or loud. A perfect choice for a feminine touch or accent

English Rose

This is a pretty, pale, earthy pink, with a warm undertone. It can be lightened with 'Lily' for a lovely  "barely-there" flesh toned pink.

Cardinal Wing

One of our most popular colors. A gorgeous red, deep, yet vibrant. This rich tone  goes well with almost anything!

~ Yellows/Oranges/Browns ~

Swallowtail

A fresh happy color, this is a true yellow. It has a sulphur undertone and makes a great contrast to greens and blues. Lightens well to a soft tone. It will brighten your day every time you look at it!

Limestone

This is a soft, bisque color. like natural Texas stone. It  looks great alone or used over any color to give a 'weathered' or 'distressed' look.

Honey Bee

A warm yellow orange, inspired by the color of a bumble bee, as well as the warm tones found in natural beeswax. This color compliments blues and grays very well. This is a deep mustard yellow.

Persimmon

A beautiful deep orange much like the flesh of a persimmon fruit. A must have for all of your Autumn decorating projects, and of course is gorgeous any time of year. It can be mixed to a burnt orange tone using a little bit of 'Lava Rock' or to  a pale shade with 'Lily'

Earth

A muted, neutral brown. Very balanced and pairs well with both warm and cool colors.
